Dutch finance minister hands in a letter of resignation
The Dieselbomb is getting out of Dutch politics but will remain as Eurogroup head until his term ends in Jan 2018,
Dear President,
With this letter, I will inform you of my decision to put my chamber membership on October 25th. I leave the Dutch politics. And that’s heavy.
Mr President, I am leaving the Chamber now.
I will finish my mandate as president of the Eurogroup in the months ahead, until mid-January. It was an honor to be a member of your Chamber for many years as part of the cabinet of Rutte-Asscher and the Netherlands to be able to represent abroad. Thank you, colleagues and all staff for the good cooperation. You are doing well.
