Theresa May is set to ring the changes to her government this week
No.10 has confirmed that Theresa May is going o shuffle the pack and bring some changes to her government over Monday and Tuesday. Several ministers face being moved around in some key jobs, with some new faces coming in. There will also be a shuffle among her junior members.
Although we’ll have to wait for the full details, it’s largely expected that Boris Johnson (Sec of State for foreign affairs), Philip Hammond (Chancellor) and David Davis (Brexit head minister) will remain in their roles.
Unless there are some big name changes in key posts, this should be a non-event for the market but it’s something to keep an ear out for if you’re trading the pound.
