Headline from Bloomers
There’s been a bit of to and fro between Germany and the UK on Brexit recently, and the latest is that Germany reckons UK financial firms will have to pony up for access to European banks after Brexit.
Last night Barnier said that UK banks could have limited access and UK’s Hammond and Davis said that the EU risks a financial crisis if a trade deal isn’t done.
Well, it is the New Year and we’ve been light on Brexit headlines thus far. I don’t think anyone has any doubts that there’s going to be costs involved for UK firms to access Europe.
