ForexFlow, in conjunction with MrTopstep and Livesquawk, are pleased to announce the opening of a new live forex trading room

Trading can be a lonely affair and it’s always been an ambition of mine to open up a live trading room. Comments on a blog post or simple chat platforms like WhatsApp and Telegram are ok but conversations can get lost in the timeline and such platforms are often limited in features.

A professionally run chat room can help traders engage on a more personal level, and help us formulate trading plans and ideas by hearing views that either compliment or question our thinking. A real trading room isn’t one where participants come to copy or get others to show them what to trade, it’s somewhere to learn and grow by discussing ideas, asking questions and receiving answers. It’s a place where all are willing to listen, and all are willing to learn.

So, I’m very pleased to announce the opening of a brand new live forex trading room project between ForexFlow, MrTopStep and Livesquawk.

Utilising the long-running MrTopStep trading room platform, myself and the other writers and traders from ForexFlow will be using this new forex trading room to further detail our trades, views and analysis in real-time. We’ve been trialling a live room for quite sometime and it’s become a real hotbed for trade ideas, market and fundamental analysis, information sharing, as well as something very special, new friendships. When we’ve put our collective heads together we’ve had some fantastic trades over big data points and events, as well as laying the groundwork for future trades based on the big key long-term fundamental events like Brexit and central bank expectations.  I’m therefore very pleased for the opportunity to team up with the folks at MrTopStep, and use their platform.

There really is nothing better than being able to bounce ideas off other people who perhaps may offer a different view, or some insight that one hasn’t thought of. Sometimes those outside views can make the difference between a winning and losing trade. We traders can often be stubborn in our thinking that “we’re always right” yet I’ve learnt from being in a room with other traders that sometimes I haven’t always thought of everything when planning a trade, and that I missed key information that would have cost me money had I not known about it. On the other side of the coin, other traders have identified or put forward suggestions that have helped increase profits way beyond those expected.

Perhaps most importantly, a live room offers support to other traders. It’s a place were traders can find a shoulder to lean on, where the group rallies round traders going through a bad patch, where less knowledgeable traders can get real help and advice from more experienced traders. It’s where traders can realise that they are not alone, and that every trader has walked in the same shoes, and have suffered (and still suffer) from the same silly mistakes as they have.

If you want to fulfil your potential as a trader, if you really want to learn how to trade properly from some of the best traders in the business, if you want to stop trading alone and if you want to have access to the kind of market news, analysis and information usually only reserved for big banks and financial institutions, then come and be part of our new trading room.

But that’s not all!! Not only will you gain access to expert traders, included in the room is the brand new, dedicated Forex news service from Livesquawk, plugged straight into the room. That’s 24/5 access to live breaking forex news provided by the best and fastest squawk service in the financial world.

So, that’s a live trading room and the best news squawk service all under one roof. We won’t stop there though as we will be working on future additional features in the room as well as working on other new products and services.

Now to the not such good news. We are aware that overcrowding a trading room can be counter-productive. Like we’ve all see in chat rooms like WhatsApp and Telegram, thousands of traders all talking at once can be confusing and voices can be lost in the throng. No-one wants to wake up, log into a room fresh in their trading day and find there’s 1500 messages to trawl through.

MrTopStep, Livesquawk and ForexFlow all agree that we want to provide the best service for traders, not just shove as many as we can through the door, so we’re going to be limiting the number of spaces in the room. Once we feel that the room has reached the point where further new members will start to impact the productivity of the room, we’re going to close the shutters to new members. We don’t know exactly what that number will be but it it’s going to pay to be in the room as early as possible.

All that leaves is for us to tell you how you can join.

Follow this link for full details of the new room and to how to sign up.

We look forward to seeing you there!
