A soft to neutral report in my eyes. Higher claimant count but lower unemployment rate. Wages on par and confirm a gain in the ex-bonus numbers. Employment change better than expected. GBPUSD is slightly off to 1.4346 from 1.4360.

- Bonus payments were lower than a year-ago; affecting the softness in total pay
- Inactivity rate was unchanged on the quarter at 21.2%; joint record low
- Vacancies unchanged on quarter at 815K
- Full-time employment rose 25K 3M to Jan 2018 vs 3M to Nov 2017
- Part-time employment rose by 29K 3M to Jan 2018 vs 3M to Nov 2017
