That’s a very strong read from the prices component. USDJPY jumped a paltry 35 pips to 112.91. Here’s the details and comments from the report. There’s more than one or two comments blaming price rises on the hurricanes so that might be a factor why the buck isn’t meanigfully higher on the prices component.
