Brexit’s Davis: UK must stay in the EU’s 3rd country trade deal format during transition

• UK can sign new trade deals during the transition (that’s a bit of a push back against what Europe thinks)
• We agree on the need for continued access to each other’s markets on current terms
• EU and UK must commit to not undermine each other in negotiations
• Immediate goal is to reach agreement in the Brexit implementation period
• As we prepare for talks on the implementation period, we star from an incredibly strong position

The EU has perviously kicked up a stink about the UK trying to negotiate trade deals during the Brexit period. Fortunately Davis is telling them to jog on.
