US initial jobless claims data week ending 26 January 2018
- Prior 233k. Revised to 231k
- Contiued claims 1.953m vs 1.928m exp. Prior 1.937m. Revised to 1.940m
- 4 week average 234.50k vs 240.00k prior. Revised to 239.50k
The 4 week average is on the decline again but there’s signs that the trend since the 2008/09 highs is starting to flatten.
