Barriers doing a job on USDJPY – Forex options expiries 27 April 2018

Forex option expiries for the 10am (14.00 GMT) New York cut 27 April 2018

The 109.50 barriers are confirmed and doing their thing in USDJPY as the high so far today is 109.49. The 110.00 barrier is said to be bigger.

EURUSD has more big expiries but only one of them is near current levels. I’ve just noted the big one’s higher up for information purposes. They are both calls and I would assume a cheap bet on yesterday’s ECB meeting. The same perhaps of this 1.21 expiry. Out of the 2.88bn, 2.05bn is puts.
