A comment popping up from Germany on Greece
- Does not want to pre-emt that meeting
A finance eministry spokesman was asked about possible changes to the bailout.
I should think that Germany would want to get its political house in order before it can join in some of those discussions. As you can imagine, it’s a subject that’s played a big part in coalition talks. The FDP has been dead set against future bailouts for troubled Eurozone countries. Meanwhile, Greece is hoping to shake off some of the bailout shackles later in 2018 as it eye’s a return to full markets.
