The OPEC meeting is still ongoing and that’s delaying the next meeting with non-OPEC members
The OPEC/Non-OPEC meeting was due to have started around now but they’ve obviously got a lot to discuss and so this next meeting is running a touch late. It’s expected to start sometime within the next hour. The delay could also push back the main press conference due at 16.00 GMT.
Brent crude is still sitting calmly around $63. There’s a general acceptance of what we’re going to get regarding a possible extension so we’re just waiting to trade the finer details.
The OPEC channel is back on and you can view it live via the Flow TV player on the home page. We could get further comments from delegates passing from one meeting to the other.
