October 2017 US JOLTS report 11 December 2017
- Prior 6.093m
- Hires 5.552m vs 5.273m prior. Revised to 5.320m
- Separations 5.178m vs 5.240m prior. Revised to 5.244m
- Quits 3.180m vs 3.182m prior. Revised to 3.180m
Noit to much to get excited about here. We’d like to see the quits number growing as that would suggest folks are trading up into better and higher paid jobs, and thus a resulting rise in wages. Steady as she goes.
