Parliament source tips the date for the Italian elections

Earlier in the European monring, K-Man grabbed the news that the Italian parliament could be dissolved between Chrsitmas and the New Year in readiness for an election. Now Reuters have pumped a source who says that the election could happen March 4th or possibly the 11th. That’s slightly earlier than the “no later than 20th May” timeline we had earlier.

That date narrowing of the timeline has seen Italian stocks fall and Italian bond yields jump.

It’s about time we had another election and being Italian it should be a quiet one. #thereturnofbungabungaman
