Sad news from Australia as a car plows into people outside Melbourne’s Flinders St station
For those that are just waking up, a couple of hours ago a vehicle ran through pedestrians outside Flinders St station in Melbourne. 15 people have been injured and two people have been arrested. So far (thankfully) there’s been no fatalities reported yet, and long may it stay that way.
There’s been no official word yet on whether it’s terror related though unsurprisingly, that’s the thought being bandied about.
Our thoughts go out to those affected and our Aussie friends. Stay safe folks.
Update 8.07: Police are now saying it was a deliberate act but are still not saying terror. Not that it really matters either way given the outcome.
