Forex option expires for the 10am (15.00 GMT) New York cut 22 February 2018

There’s billions being thrown around like confetti on the options board today. We have 7.03bn going off between 107.95 & 109.05 in USDJPY, and a fair few going off in EURUSD. The closest to the price in USDJPY currently is 3.19bn between 107.00 & 107.50. Could be some fun and games later.

We’ve also heard some talk that the USDJPY binary barriers at 105 & 104 increased in size when the price moved down towards there last week, so that shores up the downside further.

            I can see if I can get them out a bit earlier but I like to make sure I’ve got all the info that’s come in overnight through Asia, plus anything early in the European day.
