- Ex-autos 0.3% vs 0.5% exp m/m. Prior 0.6%. Revised to 0.9%
- Ex-autos/gas 0.2% vs 0.6% prior m/m
- Control group (core) 0.1% vs 0.4% exp m/m. Prior 0.5%. Revised to 0.8%
Sales on the soft side with the excuse that higher gasoline prices are sucking money away from other sales. Clothing and department stroes were the biggest losers. The only bonus was the higher eevisions last month.
