ECB day! What are your thoughts today?
I don’t hold out much hope for today’s ECB meeting but you never know. EURUSD has been in a vice for quite a while now, with little intraday volatility to move things about. The French data just now has given it a kick so there’s life in the old dog yet.
Trading wise, a decent day jobbing yesterday with GBPUSD and USDJPY giving good pips for the fast and furious. Took a small loss on a USDCAD scalp and I’m nursing an EURGBP long from the lows. By and large the levels are playing ball but in cable’s case, you’ve got to be quick to take the pips when they’re there, especially when shorting the rallies.
Trying for more of the same for me today as we’re still pretty much trendless in most pairs. For the ECB, I’ll just play the well known levels based on judging any news that comes our way.
