- Ex-autos 0.7% vs 0.5% exp m/m. Prior -0.1%
- Ex-fuel/autos 0.3% vs 0.4% exp m/m. Prior 0.0%
- Control group (core sales) 0.3% vs 0.4% exp m/m Prior 0.5%
Ok on the headline numbers but less so when the big components are stripped out. They’re still positive but nothing amazing. Either way, the US consumer is still putting their hands in their pockets. Little change in USD.
