  • Average hourly earnings up 1.2%, vs 1.1% expected
  • Private wages including overtime: 0.7% ,expected 0.6%, prior was 0.4%
  • Private wages excluding overtime: +0.7%% ,expected 0.7%, prior was 0.4%
  • NZDUSD was 0.6845 going into the numbers, come in at 0.6885 after the better labour report , beating expectations across the board
