- -0.4% vs -0.4% exp m/m. Prior 0.3%
- Core common 1.9% vs 1.9% exp y/y. Prior 1.9%
- Trim 1.9% vs 2.1% prior
- Median 1.9% vs 2.0% prior
- BOC core -0.2% vs 0.4% prior m/m
- 1.5% vs 1.6% prior y/y
Softer than expected on the headline and core measures but nothing the market wasn’t really expecting. No shocks here but also nothing to change the current expectations for the BOC. USDCAD ticked up to 1.3463 from around 1.3440.
