US ISM Manufacturing data for Mar 2018 on 02.04.2018
- Prior ISM PMI 60.8
- ISM Manufacturing Employment 57.3 vs 54.5 exp, prior 59.7
- ISM Prices paid 78.1 vs 72.5 exp, prior 74.2
- ISM New Orders 61.9 vs 64.2 prior
- Also out Construction spending 0.1 % vs 0.5% exp, prior 0.0%
A mixed bag but tilted to the downside ; Employment and Prices paid indices keep inflationary pressure in balance then compared to a lower ISM headline and worse Construction spending numbers .
USD is actually ticking up a spread :
EURUSD 1.2318
USDJPY 106.43
Cable 1.4041
Not sure what to bake of it , maybe just a flow going through
