Better borrowing numbers this month but no help to the pound. Good news for Chancellor Hammond but he’s now got to find some £20bn from somewhere to fund May’s increase in the NHS. Some of that has been touted to come from less payments to the EU after Brexit but otherwise, I hope those money trees are blooming or borrowing will be going up 😉
