Hello! I bought some dips in usdchf. The night’s move was exagerated, the deal is bad. Where? Which costs? Who will pay? Overseas centers (Morocco already says no and I Don’t imagine people from Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Nigeria etc going into these centers and say “Hello, I’d like to go to Europe…”)? Volunteers countries? So Hungary, Austria, etc are going to say no. Where is the solidarity? That’s not the UE concept, I think. And I sold eurusd at 1.1650.
Brave woman:) Kudos .:D
Maybe but there are already free and winning trades with SL 😉
Morning folks
There might be a few sore heads around forex town today after our meet up for the England vs Belgium game. K-Man was last seen sailing down the Thames on a giant Swan pedalo singing the Belgian national anthem about midnight.

He said it was cheaper than an Uber. More on that later.
Trading wise, I’ve just got the short USDMXN trade on and that’s taken another leg lower after running above 20 for about a day. The continued new lows bodes well for the trend. We were talking about it last night and there’s every reason to think that we see a bounce if/when the expected election result happens as the market will quickly switch to NAFTA again that will likely bring more negativity for the MEX. If the downtrend is to continue, it will likely need some positive chatter from the new Mexican president.
As Dubsy notes, this is the last day of the month, quarter and H1 and it could be choppy, especially into the London fix. This time of year can be very confusing as rebalancing/positioning/squaring of the books is done. Remember also that we can see similar moves early in the new month as positions are re-added back in or new ones taken.
Happy Friday and good luck to you all.
A fine example of Belgium beefsteak ?
Must’ve been rowing upstream then as I made it safely home. I don’t know how the World cup ended under my bed though. Must be to protect it from assailants …
Glad to see U in 1/4 final 😉 England vs Switzerland… lol
We’ve got to get there first 😉
Right… Colombia is a strong one…
i thought …we have some more crazier photos?
Give it time.
I’m in the EURUSD dip buying camp for today. Price took advantage of the low liquidity, yet impressive at the same time.
Yesterday was a real game of two halves for me to quote popular footballing parlance . My day started off weak and ended up an acceptable day’s work.
I’m itching to sell USDJPY again and taken another short EURJPY in Asia ( my only Asia trade ). EURAUD is on the radar today for a short . My thinking is the EUR will not perform so well on selected crosses..
Flat Kiwi after taking profits from the long trade yesterday.
Today could prove a tad tricky with the flows as Ryan noted — TFIF …….. Here’s to a super well earned relaxing weekend for all .
i’m wishing a big plunge on kiwi and gold during the fix. but i will be the buyer
Good morning all.
Got take out of EURUSD short on the migration deal. Finding the reaction to the migration deal a tad exaggerated but then who am I. Trying a short again @ 1.1630 with a stop above the day’s high.
USDMXN going down ok, but missed the opportunity to add to the tiny, being a little greedy.
Not sure about the rest of the USD but my feeling goes to buy dips.
GBP had GDP to fool around with and this afternoon we’ll get US personal income and spending data with the M, Q and HY flows in the mix.
Have a great Friday, safe travels and happy hunting
Didn’t work the short EURUSD, went out for a minor headache
have some water, hope it help
https://www.tradingview.com/x/vSQCfMlJ/ my next lv to play on kiwi is the 6680-6675, further down is 6650.
Got stop out with my euro short now going little on the long…
Morning folks and congrats to K-Man who I saw (through my telescope sitting in the sunshine on my upper balcony here in the Hague) sailing down the Thames as Ryan described. I wasn’t “feeling it” when I switched on my monitors and decided to give trading a pass and soak up some more sunshine while checking in periodically. I’ve learned to trust my gut and I felt as flat as the German team! Perhaps I’ll have a go at a couple trades in the afternoon (maybe on CAD data) but for now it’s back to the balcony with headphones and some good music. Just kidding about seeing K-Man through a telescope of course : ) I wish you all a very successful day and great weekend. Love this guy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MYcZ6s3z1jg&start_radio=1&list=RDEMtNXuCxVd-MaMBpxOa1QcXQ
TGIF Peter and nice weekend to you
Morning folks.
Still long WTI`s. Short DXY fut`s from 95.09.
Remain long GBPNZD from a pending 1.93. Long Cable off a pending 1.307. All called in the room.
Travelling long the CADYEN`s from 82.9194 to challenge BoC not to hike. Try and keep that. Locked into break-even.
Just locked plenty into Cable and GBPNZD.
Way to go England 2nd eleven. Good run out and saw us safely into the easier route if there is such a thing in the World Cup.
Happy hunting all and have a fantastic weekend one and all.
