21.01.2018 German SPD votes in favour of coalition talks with Merkel’s CSU
After a recount, SPD finally okayed the coalition talks to go ahead .
“One must not rule at any price,” Schulz said. “But neither should one be prepared to pay any price to decline to rule.”
This is a huge relief for Merkel, who not only can form a government now but equally can go head high into the Davos round starting on Tuesday until the 26th Jan.
Europe, preparing a front to counter Trump in Davos, will equally get a boost from this.
Expect EURO to open bid tonight vs USD and on the crosses, the close was around 1.2220 vs USD on Friday night
