Another one which won’t go unnoticed in the current context of the Steel Wars. Trump’s adviser Navarro was hinting over the weekend that there may be some Corporate exemptions in
the imposition of steel tariffs, which could have meant a gentle nod to Japanese carmakers, who promised large investments in the US over the next 5 years. This lawsuit gives Trump
a (trump)card to keep the knot tight though if the lawsuit would be accepted to go through.
