Up 1.5 % in a virtually empty Sunday night market

USDTRY trades above 3.67 from a 3.6160 ish close.
I can see this gap closing a bit as the market gets underway on Monday but this is adding to already EU-Turkey stressed relationship.

WELL it did NOT close the gap at all!
Someone paid the beast up to 3.88 approximatively in the first hour of trading, that’s 7.5 % roughly from Friday’s close. It actually trades around 3.75 again. Spreads are, needless to say, ultra wide.
check eurtry its even “wider” since the open….weird or something is “going or about” to go on?
